Tokyo Gas signs HoA with LNG Canada

Reuters is reporting that Tokyo Gas Co. has signed a heads of agreement (HoA) with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp to purchase up to eight cargoes of LNG from LNG Canada.

The agreement stipulates that a total of 0.6 million tpy of LNG will be delivered by project over 13 years starting in April 2026.

Tokyo Gas will purchase the cargoes on an ex-ship basis with destination flexibility.
