ClassNK has announced that it has opened new exclusive survey offices in Izmir and Mersin, Turkey. Operations both commenced on 1 January 2017.
Both Izmir and Mersin have a ‘free zone’ in each area, and are two of the most well-known port cities in Turkey.
ClassNK claims that, in recent years, the amount of surveys and audits required in western and southern Turkey (including both cities) has been growing. By opening these new offices, ClassNK will be able to improve the efficiency of its ship surveys and audits in southwestern Turkey.
The company claims that it will continue to establish survey offices globally in order to meet the requests of its clients, and to provide both timely and quality services.
