Both Izmir and Mersin have a ‘free zone’ in each area, and are two of the most well-known port cities in Turkey.
ClassNK claims that, in recent years, the amount of surveys and audits required in western and southern Turkey (including both cities) has been growing. By opening these new offices, ClassNK will be able to improve the efficiency of its ship surveys and audits in southwestern Turkey.
