Gail India selling US LNG cargoes

Reuters is reporting that India’s Gail is selling several US Gulf LNG cargoes.

The sale has been prompted by a lack of LNG tankers available to ship to India.

At present, Gail has 20-year deals to purchase 5.8 million tpy of LNG from Dominion Energy’s Cove Point and Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass facilities.

EemsEnergyTerminal partners with EXMAR for terminal extension

EXMAR has entered into a strategic partnership with EemsEnergyTerminal, a subsidiary of Gasunie and Vopak, to extend the operation of the Eemshaven LNG import terminal after 2027.
