DOF Subsea Australia Pty Ltd has announced that its existing subsea inspection, maintenance and repair contract with Chevron Australia has been extended.

In the statement, the company claims that it has successfully provided IMR vessel, ROV, AUV, project management and engineering services, including onshore and offshore personnel to carry out various work scopes supporting both construction and IMR activities on the Gorgon and Wheatstone projects, both of which are operated by Chevron, as well as other assets, since February 2015.

The long-term contract has help to create training, employment and supply chain opportunities in regional communities and businesses. The extension to the existing contract will allow DOF Subsea to continue to offer opportunities in the future.

Mons Aase, CEO of DOF Subsea AS, said, “This is an extremely exciting award, reinforcing DOF Subsea’s position in the global subsea IMR market. We look forward to continuing to support some of the largest offshore projects in Australia and indeed the world.”
