Strong Chinese LNG demand improving Hoegh LNG’s outlook

Reuters is reporting that Hoegh LNG is expecting to extend its contract with China’s CNOOC and to sign additional deals.
Hoegh’s CEO, Sveinung Stoehle, recently told Reuters that the compay is currently in negotiations for the supply of two floating storage and regasification vessels (FSRUs).
The identities of the parties involved have not been disclosed yet, however an announcement regarding the signing of the agreements is expected soon.
