Qatargas has completed over 20 million man-hours across all of its assets and projects without a Lost Time Incident (LTI), a significant milestone demonstrating the company’s commitment to safe performance.
Acknowledging the occasion, Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatargas CEO, commented: “Safety is a core value in Qatargas that we have embedded in all of our systems. Over the past few years, we have continuously improved our safety processes and programs and introduced several initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety of our people and assets.
“This milestone however, was not achieved by these programs alone. The dedication and expertise of our people and the support of our shareholder partners were crucial in making this achievement possible. As we continue our journey to be the world’s premier LNG company, we will set ever higher safety standards and strive to reach new milestones. This achievement clearly demonstrates that we are on the right path. I wish to express my thanks and congratulations to all Qatargas employees and contractors for their support in reaching this important milestone.”
