OMV Chief Executive claims Nord Stream 2 could still be built on schedule

Rainer Seele was reportedly reacting to speculation that the project could face a delay spanning several months.
Reuters reports that, when asked whether the launch of the pipeline late this year or early next year was still possible, he said: “The Nord Stream 2 company has clearly informed us that it is sticking to the schedule and the budget, and we have no reason to revise the plan in any way today.”
According to Reuters, Seele stated that over 75% of the pipeline project has been completed.
