According to the statement, the merger resulted in Dominion Energy acquiring all of the outstanding public common units of Dominion Energy Midstream Partners in exchange for Dominion Energy common shares and Dominion Energy Midstream Partners becoming an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Dominion Energy.
According to the statement, almost 7.5 million customers in 18 states power their homes and businesses with electricity or natural gas from Dominion Energy.
As one of the leading solar operators in the US, the company is looking to decrease its carbon intensity 60% by 2030.
