Japanese power companies' LNG use drops 14%

Reuters are reporting that Japanese power companies consumed 3.72 million t of LNG for power generation in June, down 14% from a year earlier.
The drop in usage is due to a higher reliance on nuclear, coal and renewables, preliminary electricity data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed.
