Reuters is reporting that Repsol has agreed to supply Brittany Ferries’ Spanish operations with LNG.
In accordance with the agreement, Repsol will install a ‘fixed quayside LNG storage and supply system’ at one of Brittany Ferries’ Spanish ports (Santander or Bilbao). Repsol will also supply LNG bunker fuel to Brittany Ferries’ new LNG-fuelled cruise liner, Salamanca.
The LNG shipments are due to commence after the Salamanca enters into service in 2022.
