The vessel is 212 m long, and is capable of carrying 2800 passengers and 800 passenger vehicles. It features modern dual-fuel engines that are capable of operating on LNG and marine diesel oil, and will comply with both current and future emission regulations for emission control areas (ECAs), including the Baltic Sea.
The vessel has a service speed of 27 knots and will operate on the existing Tallink shuttle service route from Tallinn (Estonia) to Helsinki (Finland). It will replace the current fast ferry, Superstar, commencing service on 29 January 2017.
