Beach Energy announces changes to senior executive team

Beach Energy Ltd has announced that it has made a number of changes to its senior executive team.

Mike Dodd, who currently serves as Group Executive Exploration and Development, has been named Chief Operating Officer. Dodd joined the company in 2007, and will commence his new role on 3 January 2017. Before working with Beach Energy, Dodd held senior technical and leadership roles at BG, Santos and Anadarko. He will replace Acting Chief Operating Officer Kevin Walsh, who has served in the role for four months, and will return to his former role of General Manager Production.

Jeff Schrull, meanwhile, has been appointed to the role of Group Executive Exploration and Development. Currently, Schrull serves as General Manager Exploration and Production at Cue Energy, and previously held a number of senior international positions at Chevron across a 19-year period. In addition to this, he served as Corporate General Manager of Exploration at Addax Petroleum. He too will commence his new role on 3 January 2017.

Finally, Kevin Hollingsworth has been appointed to the newly created position of Group Executive Human Resources. Most recently, Hollingsworth served as Executive Vice President Human Resources at Clough, and has previously held senior management positions at Woodside Energy. He will commence his new role on 5 December 2016.
