According to Reuters, Bangladesh’s second floating LNG terminal will soon receive its first ship-to-ship (STS) gas transfer from an Algerian cargo.

Reuters reports that the Summit LNG floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) is set to receive 159 000 m3 of LNG from Oman Trading International. According to a spokeswoman from Summit LNG Terminal, it is expected that the transfer will be completed by tonight.

According to Reuters, the cargo is being delivered by the Creole Spirit LNG tanker, which loaded gas from Bethioua in Algeria. The source added that a second tanker is expected to arrive on 3 June this year.
