Xpress Natural Gas LLC (XNG) – a full-service CNG and LNG provider with operations in the US and eastern Canada – has announced that it has appointed two key executives to leadership roles.

Vince Morrissette joins the XNG management team as Executive Vice President of Wholesale Business Development. He has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, including in energy infrastructure development, natural gas sales/marketing, asset management, financial planning/analysis, regulatory affairs and engineering. Before joining XNG, he served in leadership roles at Repsol Energy North America, CenterPoint Energy, Iroquois Gas Transmission, and El Paso Corp. associated mainly with energy infrastructure development (pipelines, power generation, and LNG facilities). For most of his career, Morrissette has been actively involved in the Northeast US gas market, with a particular focus on wholesale market development, infrastructure development, and regulatory affairs in the region.

Gary Ritter, meanwhile, has joined the company as Vice President, Sales and Business Development, and will focus on gas utilities. Ritter joins from Tenaska, where he was responsible for commercial and operational relationships with LDC customers across New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. He has experience in gas marketing, asset management, and acting as an agent for northeast gas utility and power generation customers. Before that, Ritter served with GDF Suez and Distrigas, and was responsible for the coordination of all trucked LNG to northeast LDC tanks.

XNG operates more than 100 high-volume trailers, with equipment capable of maintaining rates of over 900 million ft3/hr.

Matt Smith, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said: “Scalability and redundancy are core to our operations.

"We can rapidly mobilise resources and assets from any of our eight gas dispatch centres to provide high volume gas supply to locations on little or no notice. It is that ability that matters most to our customers."

The CEO of XNG, John Nahill, added: “We are investing in experienced resources to accelerate our growth.

"Vince and Gary bring extensive experience and knowledge to our customers, as well as a clear understanding of the opportunities where our trucked gas solutions can improve reliability and reduce costs."
