According to Reuters, the Nikolay Yevgenov – a new Arc7 class ice-breaking LNG tanker – is scheduled to arrive this week in Sabetta, Russia – the port of the Yamal facility.

This is based on the latest Refinitiv shipping data.

Currently, Reuters reports that the tanker is located off the west coast of Ireland, after having left DSME’s Okpo shipyard in South Korea at the end of last month. It is scheduled to arrive on 26 May, which is a whole five months ahead of the schedule originally set by the operator Teekay LNG Partners.

According to the shipping data, another Teekay-operated vessel – the Vladimir Voronin – is scheduled to commence sea trials imminently. Reuters reports that the data is showing the vessel to be on the water in Okpo already.

According to Reuters, a further three Arc7 tankers are scheduled for delivery to Novatek as part of the original 15-vessel order.
