SHI receives order for LNG carrier

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has announced that it has received an order for a new LNG carrier.

According to the statement, the order is valued at approximately KRW209 billion.

Following this latest order, SHI claims that its orders for 2018 now come to a total of 46 vessels and US$5.7 billion. These 46 vessels include 15 LNG carriers, 13 containerships, 15 tankers and three special purpose ships.
