WorleyParsons awarded EPCM services contract for Pearl GTL

WorleyParsons has released a statement claiming that it has been awarded a five-year engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services contract by Qatar Shell for the Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) project and associated facilities.

The project is capable of producing 140 000 bbl/d of GTL products, as well as well 120 000 bbl/d of natural gas liquids (NGL) and ethane.

The CEO of WorleyParsons, Andrew Wood, said: “WorleyParsons appreciates the confidence that Qatar Shell has shown in our local team. This award continues to build on our relationship with Shell in the region.”

WorleyParsons Qatar will execute the contract, with support provided from WorleyParsons Global Delivery Center in India.
