Deloitte has released a statement claiming that Bernadette Cullinane has been appointed as the firm’s national oil and gas practice leader. Mostly recently, Cullinane served as the Managing Director for Energy in Accenture’s Perth practice and APAC Energy Lead.

Cullinane commented: “I look forward to joining the team at Deloitte and to helping clients improve business results and grow through all industry cycles.”

Before joining Accenture in 2007, Cullinane served in a number of senior roles at various companies, including Exxon Company International, Esso Singapore and Arthur Anderson. In addition to this, she served as the Vice President in SAIC’s oil and gas consulting practice, which was later acquired by Wipro.

Cullinane has focused on supporting both Australian and international companies in transitioning their world class integrated assets from capital project build to operations phase since she moved to Western Australia in 2007. She has also played a leading role in helping clients to build, improve and transform their businesses.

Michael Rath, Deloitte National Leader, Energy and Resources, said: “Bernadette has a reputation as an active industry leader and trusted business advisor to her clients. She has a passion for helping companies improve their global competitiveness and has spoken and published extensively on this topic. She is a recognised thought leader on industry competitiveness and an advocate of collaboration across operators, service companies, government, regulators and educators to harness the massive investment in new facilities in Australia to create a world leading oil and gas industry.”
