According to Reuters, Woodside Petroleum is expecting the Wheatstone LNG project to produce its first cargo in September this year.
Peter Coleman, the Chief Executive of the company, reportedly spoke to analysts on a conference call, saying: “We're targeting first cargo in September.”
Reuters claims that commissioning of the Chevron-operated facility’s first train is almost finished, and that the second train is expected to be operational between March and May of next year.

Cheniere has announced that its subsidiaries, Sabine Pass Liquefaction and Cheniere Marketing, have each entered into long-term LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements with Chevron.
