Wison launches FLNG power plant solutions

The company claims that all products in its range named W-FSRP series (Wison – floating storage regasification and power generation) feature LNG loading and storage facilities, regasification and power generation in a single unit.

The company’s smallest unit starts at 10 MW capacity, whilst its largest features an 800 MW power plant.

Taking operational efficiency, maintenance and plant availability into consideration, different configurations or fuel alternatives are available to suit specific power demand profiles.

Ying Cui, CEO of Wison Offshore & Marine, said: “We can see increasing demand from the regions in South East Asia, West Africa, Caribbean areas, West Coast of India etc., where electricity demand is growing and onshore solutions may not be commercially feasible or preferable.
