Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has announced that, on 14 October 2015, its Board of Directors met and appointed Julien Burdeau as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. This follows the proposal made by the Chairman of the Board and CEO of GTT, Philippe Berterottière.
Burdeau began his career in the French ministry for industry, and, in 2002, moved into the steelmaking sector. Here, he attained 11 years of industry experience, holding numerous responsibilities at Arcelor, followed by ArcelorMittal and then Aperam. From 2009 to 2013, Burdeau managed the Aperam group’s Alloys and Specialities division, before eventually joining GTT as Vice President in 2013. In this last role, Burdeau was – and still will be – in charge of innovation.
