According to Reuters, Korea Gas Corp. – the state-run South Korean company – has announced that domestic gas sales in August dropped compared to August last year.
Specifically, Reuters reports that gas sales dropped 1.8% from August 2016.
In a stock exchange filing, KOGAS reportedly claimed that it sold 1.94 million t of LNG equivalent last month. The company is the world’s second largest single LNG buyer, and is South Korea’s sole wholesaler.
