GTT has announced that it has received an order notification from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) for the tank design of two new LNG carriers.

The 174 000 m3 vessels will be constructed on behalf of the Greek shipowner Consolidated Marine Management (CMM). They are scheduled for delivery between 1Q21 and 3Q21.

GTT claims that the LNG tanks will be equipped with the Mark III Flex containment system.

The Chairman and CEO of GTT, Philippe Berterottière, said: “We are pleased with the long-term partnership of excellence developed with HSHI, and to accompany Consolidated Marine Management for its entry in the LNG world.”
