GTT to design tanks for two new LNG carriers

GTT has announced that it has received an order from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for the tank design of two new 174 000 m³ LNG carriers on behalf of Greek shipowner Maran Gas.

According to the statement, the delivery of the vessels is scheduled for 1H21.

Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT, said: "We are very pleased to continue our partnership of excellence with DSME with this new order for Maran Gas.”

Argent LNG submits application to U.S. Department of Energy for authorisation to export LNG

Argent LNG, LLC has submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Energy seeking long-term, multi-contract authorisation to export domestically-produced LNG to both free trade agreement (FTA) and non-FTA countries.
