McConnell Dowell awarded Tangguh LNG expansion project work

The work is set to commence immediately, and will involve the construction of a bulk offloading facility, the LNG and condensate loading jetty, pipelines and new wellhead platforms. In addition to this, the existing onshore Tangguh Brownfield site will be redeveloped.
Onshore works will include an additional liquefaction train, an onshore receiving facility (ORF), a new LNG and condensate loading berth, additional boil-off gas (BOG) recovery, utilities, flares and other supporting infrastructure.

The work is expected to be completed in early 2019.
