Quorum appoints head of Quorum Canada

Quorum has announced that Roy Queener has been appointed head of its Canadian business unit, Quorum Canada.

The President and CEO of Quorum, Perry Turbes, said: “Roy has played a big role in the successful implementation of Quorum's software with upstream and midstream energy companies, driven from his deep understanding of both our products and our customers' needs.

"We are pleased to have him leading Quorum Canada as we continue to invest in new technology and grow our presence in the Canadian oil and gas market over the next 15 years."

Queener said: “After working for Quorum for more than a decade, I am excited to lead a great team in Quorum's Canadian business unit.

"When it comes to innovative software for oil and gas companies, Quorum sets the standard, and we have a history of delivering and supporting the industry's best products designed to address the specific needs of our Canadian customers."

Queener originally joined the company in 2005, and has developed more than a decade of experience in delivering technology to the oil and gas industry for both junior and supermajor companies. Most recently, he was responsible for the company’s US midstream and transportation commercial activities as an account manager. He has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, US, and lives in Calgary, Canada.
