LNG Industry,
The auctions for the annual and multi-year allocation without expression of interest in the regasification capacity at the FSRU Toscana terminal have been concluded.
With reference to the auctions held from 1 to 3 July 2020, 26 slots have been allocated, respectively 22 for the Gas Year 2020/2021 and four for the Gas Year 2021/2022.
Given the slots already allocated during the previous procedures for the capacity booking, to date, for what concerns the next Gas Years, 45 slots have been allocated, as follows:
- 25 slots for the GY 2020/2021.
- 12 slots for the GY 2021/2022.
- 8 slots for the GY 2022/2023.
The next auction for the allocation of regasification capacity products offered during the Gas Year will be held on 1 September 2020.
“Despite the current economic-industrial scenario, strongly affected by the emergency that we are experiencing worldwide”, said the company. “The positive trend that we have recorded in recent years does not stop, rather it is consolidated. With 25 slots allocated for the next Gas Year, we outperform the already excellent figure of July 2019, then exceeded by the achievement of 100% of the capacity allocated for the current Gas Year. We are confident for the future thanks to the numbers of our business and the commitment of all the members of our team. Furthermore, thanks to the introduction of multi-year auctions, that are registering growing interest from Users, we can also look positively at the coming Gas Years, we already have excellent numbers for GY 2021/2022.”
