Reuters is reporting that India’s Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) is offering a tender to buy a cargo of LNG. It is also reported that Indian Oil Corp (IOC) is also seeking an LNG spot cargo.

The GSPC tender opened on 5 January, will close by end 7 January, and has validity until 8 January. The delivery window is set for 20 January to 10 February.

Experts suggest that India will continue to purchase regular spot cargoes throughout the winter, however significant demand spikes are not expected.
