Gazprom and Mitsui discuss cooperation-related issues

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Masami Iijima, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mitsui & Co. Ltd, have held a working meeting at the 5th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia.

According to the statement, the parties discussed issues related to their cooperation, expressing appreciation for the Sakhalin II project, which turned 25 year old this year. It was noted that LNG and oil from the project have been purchased by 19 different countries around the world.

Gazprom claims particular attention at the meeting was paid to cooperation on small and mid scale LNG.

PTT buys year’s supply of LNG

Thailand’s PTT has purchased 10 LNG cargoes for delivery over the course of a year, starting in March 2020.
