The cargo tanks for Avenir LNG’s first bunker vessel have been built, delivered and installed by Italy’s Gas and Heat S.p.A.
Gas and Heat is the contractor for the complete gas systems onboard Avenir LNG’s 7500 m3 bunker vessels being built at Keppel Nantong shipyard.
Avenir LNG currently have a number of LNG bunker vessels on order at two different yards with options for further vessels available.
The cargo tank installation at Keppel Nantong went to plan and just as the tanks were installed in the first hull, the cargo tanks for the second hull were loaded onboard a heavy lift ship in the port of Livorno, close to Gas and Heat’s factory in Pisa.
