Petronet LNG in talks for LNG agreements

According to Reuters, Petronet LNG has been holding talks with a number of companies on agreements for LNG.

Petronet’s head of finance, Vinod Kumar Mishra, said that this list of companies includes US-based NextDecade LNG. Mishra also said that Petronet is in the process of appointing a consultant to help guide the company in signing deals to purchase LNG from overseas suppliers.

In addition to this, Reuters reports that Petronet is also in discussion with Tellurian Inc. and Qatar Gas to purchase stakes in their LNG assets.
