Angola LNG resumes production

The facility was reportedly taken offline as part of a controlled shutdown, so that engineers could carry out a minor intervention.
Barbara Freitas-Daniels, a spokeswoman for the venture led by Chevron, said: “I confirm that Angola LNG's plant has restarted production.”
Reuters claims that the facility has been shut down a number of times for long periods ever since it started up in mid-2013. This included a two-year shutdown that lasted from April 2014 to June 2016 so that design flaws could be fixed.
