Anadarko Petroleum Corp. appoints Mitchell Ingram to the position of Executive Vice President, Global LNG

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. has announced that Mitchell Ingram has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Global LNG. The appointment, which was decided by Anadarko’s Board of Directors, will take immediate effect.

Al Walker – the Chairman, President and CEO of Anadarko – said: “Mitch Ingram is a recognised leader in industry for his ability to advance large-scale LNG projects effectively, safely, and in collaboration with host governments and local communities.

“His leadership, industry knowledge and track record of success will be additive to the strong organisation we have built to advance the development of LNG in Mozambique and make this line of business an increasingly important part of Anadarko's future. As our Board and Executive Committee evaluated how to best manage the company's growing global LNG position over the next decade, we concluded expanding our ranks to include a proven leader to manage this business platform would optimise our success. We look forward to adding Mitch's expertise, business acumen and perspective to the management of our company.”

Ingram has previously served as a member of BG Group’s Executive Committee as the Executive Vice President – Technical. He has also had significant responsibilities in the Queensland Curtis LNG project (QCLNG). Ingram also spent 20 years with Occidental Oil & Gas, where he was involved in project management, development and operations.

Ingram will join the following members of the Executive Committee:

• Bob Daniels – Executive Vice President, International and Deepwater Exploration.
• Darrell Hollek – Executive Vice President, US Onshore Exploration and Production.
• Bob Gwin – Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
• Bobby Reeves – Executive Vice President, Law and Chief Administrative Officer.
• Jim Kleckner – Executive Vice President, International and Deepwater Operations.
