According to Reuters, Chevron has restarted Train 1 at the Gorgon LNG project in Australia ahead of time.

This follows an outage in mid-May, which was caused by a failed measurement device. Reuters reports that repair and other routine work were expected to take approximately a month to complete.

A spokesman from Chevron reportedly said: “Production from Gorgon LNG Train 1 has resumed.

“Trains 2 and 3 are running normally, and we continue to ship cargoes.”
