CFO of Total states intention to be part of Qatar’s LNG expansion

, the Chief Financial Officer of Total has stated that the company will be disappointed if it misses out on Qatar's planned LNG expansion.
Reportedly, Patrick de La Chevardiere said: “We are very interested in Qatar LNG with the decision made by the Qataris to increase their capacity with four trains of roughly 30 million t.
“We’ll be disappointed if we are not part of Qatar’s LNG expansion.”

According to Reuters, four companies have placed offers into a 10-year import tender for LNG deliveries to Pakistan, with Pakistan LNG expected to award the tender in August 2019.
