Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNG Ltd) has announced a change in project management at its Bear Head LNG export facility, which is currently under development in Nova Scotia, Canada.

John Godbold, the COO and Project Director, as well as Ian Salmon, the CFO for Bear Head LNG, are both leaving the project.

Maurice Brand, the Managing Director and CEO of LNG Ltd, said: “We appreciate John and Ian introducing the Bear Head LNG project opportunity to LNG Ltd. Since our acquisition in August 2014, they have been instrumental in guiding the development of Bear Head through a complex permitting and regulatory process and establishing a strong and experienced project team in Canada and the US.

"The Bear Head LNG project is well positioned to move forward on all the necessary commercial agreements. LNG Ltd executives and I will be in Nova Scotia next month to speak with the many key stakeholders, including politicians, regulators, contractors, and the local team, to assure a smooth transition and to reiterate LNG Ltd’s strong commitment to see Bear Head LNG through to construction and operations."

John Baguley, the recently appointed Chief Technical Officer for LNG Ltd, will handle the executive management responsibilities, and will work with the Bear Head LNG project team. Brand, meanwhile, will continue to serve as the President of Bear Head LNG’s project companies.
