Indonesian LNG cargoes set for China delayed due to coronavirus

The shipments were scheduled to be delivered to Fujian province in China in the third week of February, but have now been rescheduled for an unconfirmed time.
Arief Setiawan Handoko, deputy for finance and monetisation at SKK Migas (Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas regulator), said that if the shipments are cancelled altogether, Indonesia would prefer to sell the cargoes to a domestic buyer.
Reuters reports that shipments to other destinations, such as Japan and Singapore, have not yet been impacted by the coronavirus outbreak in China.
