Vanessa Guthrie appointed to Santos board

Dr Guthrie has a deep understanding of geology, the environment and the management of natural resources, and has significant experience in the mining industry in a number of roles, including operations, environment, community, indigenous affairs, corporate development and sustainability.
She has qualifications in geology, environment, and law and business management, including a PhD in Geology. She previously served as the Managing Director and CEO of Toro Energy Ltd and VP Sustainable Development at Woodside Energy. She is currently Chair of the Minerals Council of Australia, and is a Non-Executive Director of Australian Broadcasting Corp. (ABC).
Santos claims that this appointment is part of the board’s continuing renewal process, following Scott Sheffield’s retirement at the end of the recent annual general meeting.
