Sinwa Ltd has announced that it has won a number of new supply agreements for vessels involved in Shell’s Prelude floating LNG (FLNG) project.

Under the agreements, totaling AUS$8 million, Sinwa will supply provisions, stores and logistics support to a number of vessels involved in the FLNG project. The agreements are expected to commence in August 2017, with revenue from the agreements flowing through to FY2018.

Bruce Rann, Group CEO of Sinwa, said: "Against the backdrop of a highly competitive and challenging business environment, we are pleased to have secured work for this landmark project. We look forward to working closely with our business partners to ensure the success of this undertaking."

The Prelude FLNG project will be located in the Browse Basin, approximately 475 km northeast of Broome, and over 200 km off the coast of Western Australia. The group will be servicing its client’s requirements through its 10 000 m2 Darwin facility, which features complete warehousing facilities, including freezer, chiller, provision and general storages, as well as lay down and hard stand areas.
