Texans for LNG aims to educate the public about the benefits of LNG exports for all Texans. It is comprised of individuals, organisations, and businesses that recognise the value of LNG exports to Texas.
Ambassador Kirk said: “There is growing global demand for LNG and developing facilities here that are safe and environmentally sound to meet that demand is a great opportunity for Texas that makes sense […] The benefits that LNG export facilities will bring to Texas are substantial, contributing billions of dollars in investments and thousands of jobs to the state.”
The launch of Texans for LNG is the first in a series of activities that the campaign will undertake to further its goals of promoting the development of LNG export facilities in Texas.
