Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd (LNGL) has announced that Anthony Gelotti has appointed to the position of Chief Development Officer.

He will be based in Houston, Texas, US, and will assist in the close-out of the full LNG production capacity of Magnolia LNG, as well as developing new global and North American opportunities for mid-scale LNG projects.

Gelotti has previously served as the President of Woodfibre LNG; Vice President – Global LNG Marketing and Trading at Chevron Corp.; Commercial Advisor to the President of Chevron Global LNG Supply and Trading Group; Vice President, Commercial and LNG Supply with Shell North America LNG; as well as other high-level positions in energy companies, including BG Group.

The Chief Operating Officer for Magnolia LNG, John Baguley, meanwhile, will now have the additional responsibility of serving as the LNGL Chief Technical Officer. He will replace Paul Bridgwood in this role.

Under this additional title, Baguley will be responsible for identifying technical opportunities in mid-scale LNG projects; delivering and improving OSMR® technology; and creating agreements with equipment and service providers, as well as with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.

LNGL has also announced that Nimalan Gnanendran has been appointed to the position of LNGL Technology Manager.

Nimalan has worked for the company since 2010, and during his time has worked extensively on the development of the OSMR process.

Maurice Brand, the LNGL Managing Director and CEO, said: “The appointments of Anthony and John at the corporate level, greatly enhance the depth of the LNGL leadership group and are building blocks towards capitalising on recent announcements on Magnolia LNG, its progress to financial close as well as capturing new value enhancing LNG opportunities. I am very excited about working with Anthony and to continue working with John and his team, which together has done an outstanding job on the delivery of the EPC Contract for Magnolia LNG based on the Company’s OSMR technology and project execution business model. I am also delighted that Nim has accepted the appointment to the new position of LNGL Technology Manager. He will work closely with John in delivering the next phase of the OSMR process technology and development of mid-scale LNG opportunities.”

All three of these appointments will be effective from 1 December 2015.
