Woodside appoints Jacobs to engineering panel

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that it has been selected by Woodside Energy Ltd to work as part of an engineering panel to provide multidisciplinary engineering services for the company’s onshore and offshore assets for a two year period. Under the agreement, Jacobs is able to deliver concept, Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) and detail design work, engineering assessments and engineering support services for both operations and maintenance work.
Woodside is one of the largest LNG producers in Australia, acting as an explorer, developer, producer and supplier. It has assets across the west coast of Australia, as well as in Canada and Timor Leste.
Steve Axcell, the Senior Vice President of Jacobs, said: “We are very pleased to be a part of this new panel venture with Woodside, which strengthens our position in the oil and gas industry in Australia. We are excited to engage our local and international capabilities, including our global integrated delivery model to support the successful delivery of safe, cost-effective projects to Woodside.”
