LNG Alliance selects Technip Energies for AMIGO LNG project

LNG Alliance has selected of Technip Energies for an enhanced project management consultant (ePMC) role for the AMIGO LNG project in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.

Technip Energies will serve as the overall project management and integration partner across the 6 million tpy LNG liquefaction facility, providing project management, engineering interface management, construction management, and independent project oversight across the project’s stakeholders, contractors, and execution entities.

The integrated development comprises two floating process barges: a pre-treatment barge and a liquefaction barge, for which Technip Energies will provide overall PMC oversight. The ePMC role also covers the associated marine facilities, including a quad berth capable of accommodating two LNG carriers and two FSUs, together with the related berthing, mooring, utilities, and export infrastructure.
