The Center for Liquefied Natural Gas (CLNG) has announced that Jordon Cove LNG is joining the organisation.

Jordon Cove LNG is the operator of the Jordon Cove LNG facility in Coos Bay, Oregon, US. In the statement, CLNG states that it looks forward to working with the company in raising awareness of the various uses of LNG, educating the public on the successes of LNG, and bringing LNG to market, safely, efficiently and quickly.

The Executive Director of CLNG, Charlie Riedl, said: “CLNG welcomes Jordan Cove LNG and believes this addition displays how vibrant the future is, not just for our organisation, but the industry at large. CLNG’s membership is diverse, effective, and growing, much like the US and global LNG market.”

The CEO of Jordon Cove LNG, Betsy Spomer, added: “We’re delighted to be joining the Center for LNG and share CLNG’s commitment to improved understanding of LNG and public policies advancing the use of LNG. Enlisting CLNG’s expertise and experience will help to reinforce our efforts to move the Jordan Cove LNG facility at Coos Bay forward.”
