Cameron LNG has contracted Elliott Group to manufacture three compressor trains for its new LNG liquefaction export facility in Hackberry, Louisiana, US.
The three train LNG liquefaction facility, with an approved export capacity of 12 million tpy, will be located adjacent to the existing LNG import terminal and regasification facilities. The LNG liquefaction facility is set to become operational in 2018.
Brook Tolman, Director of Global Sales, said: “Elliott’s longstanding strength and experience in refrigeration compression, and our ability to meet the challenging process requirements, were instrumental in winning this order.”
The compressors will be built and tested at Elliott’s manufacturing facility in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, US.
