DOF Subsea to supply MSV for Prelude FLNG project

DOF Subsea Australia Pty Ltd has released a statement claiming that it has been awarded a contract by Technip Oceania Pty Ltd for the provision of a multipurpose support vessel (MSV) for Shell’s floating LNG (FLNG) project, Prelude.

The MSV, Geoholm, will provide ROV and light construction support services to TechnipFMC in Australia for the Prelude FLNG water intake riser installation.

John Loughridge, DOF Subsea EVP, Asia Pacific, said: “We look forward to working with TechnipFMC in Australia to deliver a safe and efficient project."

EIA: US natural gas exports to grow nearly 30% by 2027 as LNG facilities ramp up

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s latest Short-Term Energy Outlook forecasts that US LNG exports will continue to increase as five LNG export projects start operations and ramp up production by the end of 2027.
