Fortuna FLNG on track for FID in 1H17

Ophir has released an update on its asset portfolio and trading for the year ended 31 December 2016.

In the statement, the company claims that the Fortuna floating LNG (FLNG) project remains on schedule for a final investment decision in 1H17, with the company and its partner, OneLNG, making good progress.

In November 2016, Ophir Holdings & Ventures Ltd and OneLNGSM announced that they had signed a binding shareholders’ agreement to establish a joint operating company (JOC) to develop the Fortuna project in block R, located offshore Equatorial Guinea.
