The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has announced that it will release its environmental assessment of the Cameron LNG export terminal expansion project in the US on 12 February 2016. Other federal agencies also have jurisdiction over the project, but have until 12 May 2016 to complete their assessments.
The proposed expansion project would see an increase in production capacity by 515 billion ft3/yr.
