Primoris Services Corp. has announced that its subsidiary, OnQuest Inc., has secured a US$100 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a new LNG facility.

The contract was awarded by a New England based energy company, and will see an existing liquefaction facility replaced with a new LNG plant utilising a nitrogen cycle liquefier.

Under the contract, OnQuest will provide plant design, engineering, procurement, transportation, construction and installation services. It will also provide operator training, commissioning, start-up and performance testing at the facility.

The company will make use of Primoris (James) Industrial Construction – a division of Primoris Energy Services – for all of the project construction services.

Engineering is scheduled to commence in 1Q17, whilst plant completion is expected in 3Q19.
